To reserve, Vacation Residences requires 50% of the total rental costs.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES
Check-in time at the Property will be at 15:00 hrs (3 PM) (Central Standard Time)
Check-out time from the Property will be at 13:00 hrs (1 PM) (Central Standard Time)
Arriving earlier or departing after the designated hours will incur an additional charge of 50% to 100% of the daily rate, depending on the actual arrival or departure time.
DAMAGES TO THE PROPERTY
The Client agrees to be responsible for the care of the Property, including furnishings, appliances, art and decoration, etc. If any damage or loss is caused by The Client or any of his guests, the Client will be responsible for reimbursement to the Property owners or Vacation Residences.
SECURITY DEPOSIT (reimbursement will be authorized 2 days after departure if there are no damages)
The Client agrees to post a deposit with Vacation Residences, in addition to the Balance Due of the Property, an amount as security deposit, in order to guarantee payment for any damages that may occur during the Client’s occupancy.
EXTRA PERSON CHARGE
The total number of guests to occupy the Property during the period of the rental agreement is to be determined in the rental agreement. Any additional person in excess of the agreed total guests will be subject to a 20% charge of the total daily rent, per night – per person. This includes all children over 4 years old.
The staff is at your service from 08.00 hrs. (8 AM) to 20.00 hrs. (8 PM). If you need additional service after their shift, please consider paying $8 USD per hour, per member of the staff. Gratuities and/or tips for household service staff are not included in the rent. Please consider paying Tips and Extra hours in cash directly to the staff. All villa rentals include chambermaid(s), waiter(s) and cook or Chef. Condo rentals only include chambermaid service, and a waiter or cook may be hired for an additional cost.
Pets may only be allowed with the owner’s written authorization. A separate Pet Cleaning deposit may be required.
The Client may not have guests in excess of 50% of the total occupying the villa, without previous, written authorization. The reason is that the staff, linen and dinnerware would not be sufficient to give proper service. If you desire to use the Property for an event or party with more people than authorized in this rental, written authorization from Vacation Residences is required.
To protect the safety of the Client and his guests, no one with illicit activities will be allowed in the Property.
The Client releases the Property and/or Vacation Residences from any and all liability for injuries or damages from any kind of accident or fall for any reason or circumstance resulting in any lesion, illness or death suffered by the Client or his guests during the rental period, in or outside of the Property. The Client agrees to hold the owner of the Property and Vacation Residences harmless for any and all claims which might be made by the Client and/or guests.
All reservations are considered firm commitments. In the event of a cancellation thirty days or more before the arrival date, a reimbursement will not be granted until the cancelled reservation is sold to another party. If the reservation period is not rented within thirty days prior to the arrival date, a reimbursement will not be made. If the reservation period is sold to another party, a reimbursement will be made, minus a 15% penalty. There are no reimbursements or credits for cancellations made less than thirty days before the arrival date. All cancellations must be made in writing. Travel insurance is recommended.
Christmas and New Year: In the event the Client wishes to cancel during this period, any payments made WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED OR CREDITED to any other date. If the Property cancels a reservation, a full reimbursement of all payments will be made or the guests will be accommodated to a villa with the same capacity and rate or better.
“In case of events such as strikes, active construction noise in adjacent or nearby properties, power outages or running water outages in the immediate vicinity of the Property, neither reimbursement nor any kind of compensation will be granted unless any of these events occur only within the Property and as a consequence of maintenance problems in the Property”
The Client agrees to be responsible for his belongings and valuable objects and those of his guests during the rental period. The Client releases THE PROPERTY and Vacation Residences of any responsibility in the event of the loss of any personal belongings or those of his guests, inside or outside of the Property.
